As you may have already read…Scott had a great “guys” weekend with his brother Steve. Now…it’s my turn to tell you what I did on my “girls” night out!
If you are hoping for shots, naked strippers and naughty gifts then you might want to stop reading now! That is sooooooo not me!! What I can tell you is that my sister Casey planned a great fun filled evening! Mike, Laura, Mom, Adrienne, Shannon and Jennie met us at “Tomo”, this awesome Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar. Laura brought me a Bride tiara and a white veil that I wore all night with a great big cheesy grin on my face. The dinner and conversation were great. It did feel strange with all the attention being focused on me.
So…did you know that at a bachelorette party you get gifts!? Awesome, right! I got very cool sleep wear from Mike and Laura. They also got me some “special” lotion but that is for me and Scott and our private time! Mom and Shannon got me o’ so comfortable pj’s and a gray short robe that I had wanted to get myself but hadn’t had the chance to yet (and they didn’t even know I wanted it! LOL). They also got me a beautiful scarf that will be great in the evenings on our honeymoon. I also got gorgeous bracelets from Casey and Jennie. I felt like a queen for the night!
We didn’t get a good scare like Scott did…but we did have a great laugh at Cracker’s Comedy Club. I even had an “Orange Oasis” drink. Just like an orange Dreamsicle. The laughs were good, but hanging out with my girls and Mike, that’s priceless!
After all that fun, Casey and I headed to her house where we filled Matt in on everything. He might not have wanted to hear about everything, but it was fun recalling our night out. Finally it was off to bed around midnight! And…it was a real bed that I got to sleep in (why we don’t have one is another story). Maybe it’s because I am older…but this was a perfect bachelorette party. Thank you Casey, you are the best! And thank you everyone for making me feel so special!
